  • Accessibility And Usability

    • Does accessible web design make a site less usable for non-disabled users? On the contrary, accessible design helps all users have a more successful experience.

  • Accessibility Doesn't Have To Be Boring

    • This workshop deals with the perceived barrier to making visually interesting web sites that also meet accessibility standards.
  • Common Barriers to Web Accessibility

    • A discussion of the issues related to accessible web design
  • Home Accessible Home

    • This workshop deals with the design and adaptation of homes for individuals with age-related or otherwise acquired limitations.
  • Measuring the Physical Environment

    • This workshop deals with simple, affordable methods to perform accessibility assessments of the physical environment, including some low-cost, innovative tools that have been developed or developed by the author.
  • Senior PC Training

    • These workshops were developed to provide a basic introduction to PCs for older adults. They assume no prior experience, but are focused on the use of Windows Vista. The Word Processing module is designed around Microsoft Works, and the email around HotMail.
  • Training Morse Code

    • This workshop details a method for teaching Morse code to individuals with disabilities. The method described is based on the Farnsworth method, developed for teaching Ham radio operators and others how to send and receive Morse effectively.
